The Administrative Court was set up in 2014 by city ordinance. Speeding 26 mph or more over the limit is a Class B misdemeanor under 625 ILCS 5/11-601. These cases require a court date in McLean County. DUI charges under 625 ILCS 5/11-501 are Class A misdemeanors for a first offense. Fines can reach $2,500 with up to a year in jail. A third DUI is a Class 2 felony. All vehicles must have liability insurance under 625 ILCS 5/7-601.
